Expatify is a free set of tax-planning tools and guides for Canadians leaving Canada. We try to collect as little as possible. You do not need an account to use anything on this site.

Information We Collect

Calculator inputs. The numbers you enter into our calculators (assets, income, province, etc.) are used to produce your results. They are processed to generate your estimate and, if you request one, a PDF report. We do not ask for your name or create a profile to do this.
Usage analytics. We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool, to understand which pages are visited. It does not track you across other sites or build an advertising profile.
Messages you send us. If you email us or book a consulting call, we receive whatever information you choose to share.

What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your information.
We do not require accounts or passwords.
We do not provide your calculator inputs to advertisers or data brokers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to run the calculators, generate the reports you request, respond to your messages, and improve the tools and content on this site.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site, including our hosting provider and Ahrefs Web Analytics. Links to external sites (such as the CRA or Loonies & Sense) are governed by their own privacy policies.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect any information transmitted to us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
